This ten house development of an existing steading on the edge of Leuchers was challenging in many aspects. The arrival of the Eurofighter at the local airbase causing a moratorium of planning in Leuchars threatened to end the scheme before it started and the financial crisis of 2008 almost left the scheme semi complete.
The developers persistence was ultimately rewarded and the sympathetic conversion is an asset to the village.
